The Wizard is a K1 that is suited to the Avon Descent or Multisport racing in rough water. It was designed by Steve Muir of Grafton Paddle Sports in 1999. It has been the winning boat in the Avon Descent on more than one occasion. It has a high volume deck for a K1, this coupled with a downriver style cockpit, has caused it to be the boat of choice for many Avon Descent paddlers over the years. This boat can be paddled and steered comfortably with or without a rudder. It is a stable boat which also makes it appealing to the intermediate level paddlers as a first K1. This boat comes standard with an adjustable footrack, and a trailing rudder. Other extras are available for this boat on request. |
